Young Man and Woman Giving Food and Water to Homeless Man

As we all know it’s pretty cold at the moment and more snow is on the way http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/ , but suppose that you’re homeless, stuck out on the streets of Aylesbury with nowhere to spend the night, well fortunately there  is a charity providing a night shelter for you to go to, spend the night get some sleep and get a hot meal and breakfast.

Aylesbury Homeless Action Group www.ahag.org.uk open a shelter a night between January and March BUT they need YOUR HELP.

At a recent meeting of Aylesbury Town Council the Mayor Ranjula Takodra MBE asked for donations to be made to AHAG of ring pull canned food, long shelf life food, warm clothing specifically hats, scarves, gloves, coats, blankets, anything that can keep you warm, could be made by the Aylesbury community.

You can take donations to the Town Hall 5 Church St Aylesbury (near the county museum) between Monday 21st Jan and Friday 1st Feb, ask for Sue.

Any donations you do make will be appreciated and make someone at the very bottom of the pile just a little better off, I’ll certainly be having a look through my cupboards and buying a few extras for AHAG when doing the family food shopping.
