Steven Lambert the Liberal Democrat candidate for the General Election outside Rayners Hedge

 

Today Friday 1^st October should be a sad day for residents of Aylesbury, today is the day that the NHS closes Rayners Hedge, this is the Brain injury rehabilitation center in Croft Road, the center is being closed and moved to Amersham Hospital, this will mean that any patients and their families will have further to travel, the town has lost yet more employment, and the £60,000 of tax payers money the NHS spent installing new bathrooms earlier this year has been wasted.

 

Rayners Hedge has had a long and proud history, serving the population of North Bucks, it’s a real shame that stroke victims, and head injury patients can no longer get the rehabilitation they need close to their home.
